Evan has just turned 4 years old! We had so much fun at his photo session even though it was a little cold outside. He loves trains so we had originally planned on doing his session at an abandoned train that is no longer on its tracks but when we went there, the train was gone. So we did get to use the tracks in his photos! He was such a little ham!

A couple weeks ago, Caroline messaged me to do a session with her, her brother and her boyfriend for her moms birthday gift. This is one of my favorite sessions, they were all so great and willing to do anything I asked for the perfect photos! The lighting was perfect and I love how Caroline coordinated their clothing! I could not share these until a couple of days ago because I did not want their mom to see them and spoil the surprise. I heard she LOVED them!

This was my first in home lifestyle session, mom is a friend of mine who recently had her 3rd child, Fisher, on the one year anniversary of finding out her Kidney cancer that had spread was completely GONE, she was cancer free!!!! Fisher was recently diagnosed with William syndrome. This family is simply amazing, they have so much faith in the Lord and tackle each curve ball life throws at them as a team.
Fisher’s older sisters are simply head over heels in love with him and once you see his photos you will see why, he is adorable!

~Letters January 2013~

In 2013 I have made a promise to myself to document more of my children through photos, video, on paper, etc. I have recently joined with a group of photographers and every month we will be writing, photographing, and blogging about our children. I will be alternating between Ella and Miles. I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I am sure I will enjoy doing them!
My sweet Ella,
The last 4 1/2 years have been the happiest of my life. You have brought so much joy and happiness to our little family!
In the last couple months it seems like you have grown so much and are becoming such a beautiful little lady.
You always take such good care of your little brother and tell him things like, ” its ok Miles your sissy is here” when he cries but then other times you both aggravate the snot out of one another and you say ” SON, stop it” I think sometime you think you are his mom but thats ok because you have been such a big help with him for me and he looks up to you. He tries to do everything that you do and you are going to be such a great role model for him. I hope he always looks up to you and I hope that you two are always as close as you are today.
If I had to choose 3 words to describe you, I would choose: timid, gentle, and loving!
You are and have always been so shy and timid around people that you do not know. When you were 2 we decided to put you in daycare because of how shy you were around people and boy have you come out of your shell in 2 1/2 years. You are still a very timid little girl but it sure does not take you long to warm up to people now!
You are such a gentle person with others. Every since you have been a baby you have been this way. When you were only about 8 months old, I had my tonsils removed and I remembering feeling so bad and you would just lay with me and pat me on my back with your hand. Even now when I need it most you just come up to me out of the blue and say ” moma, I love you!” Please never loose this gentleness you have, it is a wonderful trait!
I guess I have kinda covered the loving part already!
I love you more than the most!

The Lewis Wedding

Back in the Fall, I had the opportunity to do a wedding of a friends sister. I only do a few weddings a year but was for sure willing to do this wedding.
It was an outside wedding and the weather was absolutely perfect that day!
Dyonna used a country/vintage theme to her wedding with cowgirl boots and her one of a kind headpiece that she wore. The location was a beautiful home in Florence, SC surrounded by trees and moss.
Dyonna drove up in a vintage car and her brother walked her down the aisle as her dad performed the ceremony. I had such a great time photographing this wedding. This was my second weddding for the Tapp Family, so it made it less stressful since I knew a lot of the wedding party and such.

This fall we took the kids to the fair and for the past 2 years I have wanted to photograph them enjoying everything at the fair but just have not done it for different reasons. But this year I was determined and am so proud of the results! We had so much fun. Ella loves to ride the kid rides and Miles was enjoying everything, seeing what he could get in to. I hope you enjoy this little peek into our fair trip that took place in October. Sorry it is so late posting this blog post, it has been crazy busy around here!

Meet the Drake family!
They have two cute little boys who are twins and adorable! Many of you may know Elizabeth from being a nurse practitioner with Dr.Rabons office in Conway. She wanted to so a session for her boys and her family and of course the first date that we had scheduled we got rained out, the second day it was drizzling during the session but due to both Elizabeth and my schedule we had to do it that day. It was cold and wet but the boys were such good sports. They both had completely different personalities. They just turned 2 years old!

Mason has recently turned 2 years old! For his birthday photos his mom wanted to do them at the Conway Marina, especially the rock that is on the side of the river. His grandmother has a photo of each grandchild on that rock! Mason was interested in everything except me and my camera, so a chasing I went, but we had so much fun! Mason is such a handsome little boy with his blonde hair and big blue eyes! His mom is a sewing pro and she makes his outfits which are absolutely adorable!!! I hope you enjoy this little peek at his session!
